Alessandro Mandanici è nato nel 1980 a Milazzo (ME), vive e lavora a Milano dal 2012.

Ha studiato Grafica pubblicitaria frequentando corsi di illustrazione e successivamente sperimenta la pittura da autodidatta.

La sua cifra stilistica, a volte vintage, ha avuto nel tempo influenze dalla grafica dei poster rock anni 60-70, da artisti come Basquiat, Warhol, Andrea Pazienza e dalla street art in generale.

La sua, è espressione istintiva che sulla superficie si tramuta in tratto nervoso, movenze circolari, onde cromatiche che riflettono la sua vena artistica in una danza dove il soggetto è posto su uno sfondo in movimento .

Sperimenta varie tecniche dal classico acrilico su tela al collage sul legno e materiali riciclati al semplice inchiostro su carta; talvolta il tutto viene rimescolato e masticato a proprio piacimento.

He studied Graphic art attending courses of illustrating and then began to paint as self-educated.

His style, sometimes vintage, was influenced by the graphic rock 60-70 years posters, and also by artists such as Basquiat, Warhol, Andrea Pazienza and the street art in general.

His own touch on the surface is sometimes nervous, circular , like waves of colour that reflect his artistic talent in a dance where the subject is placed on a flowing background.

He usually tests different artistic techniques like the classical acrylic on canvas, collages on wood and recycled materials, or the simple ink on paper. Occasionally he is able to merge everything depending on his own imagination.
